What better way to celebrate a birthday than with cake? Your babies first birthday is an important milestone and a cake smash session is a fun filled way to mark the occasion and record some memories. They can be styled to suit a chosen colour scheme or themed to represent a favourite activity or character and inject a little of your babies personality into the images.

All sessions now start with a mini portrait to record a few timeless images of your child, this is also a great opportunity to jump in and get an updated family image. Then we move onto the fun bit, your baby is let loose with their cake on the set up of your choice. Some babies love it and get stuck in, some babies are a bit more unsure of the texture, but whatever happens we will get some lovely images of your child’s reaction. Once they have had enough of the cake we move onto the splash! I have a lovely mini roll top bath that I fill with warm water and bubbles and let your baby splash to their hearts content getting rid of the sticky cake mess in the process, meaning you get to take a clean child home and leave all the mess behind!
