Our children grow and change so fast, having a professional photoshoot is a great way to record them through the stages of their childhood. Whether its a fun walk round the park or a more formal studio session we can create beautiful images that will be treasured for years to come.

It has also been proven that having portraits of your children on your walls helps to increase their self esteem. Showing that you value them by having their image on the wall, that the see daily, can help to build your child’s confidence. By having a family image on the wall it shows them that they are part of a valuable unit, giving the reassurance and security. 

Its easy to find reasons to put off getting a family photo, many of us as adults don’t like to be in the photo ourselves. It is too easy for time to pass and to find that we are not in many images with our children at all. I always encourage parents to get in some of the images with their children, its a great opportunity to not be the one taking the images and to create some memories that include the whole family to look back on. Think about how important photos of your parents are to you and give the same gift to your children. 

All children and family sessions can be done either in the studio or at a local location. We are fortunate enough to have a selection of lovely parks which provide a great backdrop of your session.

As well as being able to enjoy them yourself family photographs make a great gift idea. Grandparents, especially love to receive updated photos of the grandchildren. Or you could even buy a voucher and give the gift of professional portraits to someone else.
